I must say I was so blessed to have the parents I had. They were my best friends. I enjoyed so many things with them Really enjoyed working with my mom at various jobs together. We went to many concerts, shows, plays, movies dinners, dancing, our multiple calls each day, snuggles and so much more. My Mommas love for life and people especially family was one of a kind. I remember one night we went dancing and her feet kept sticking to the floor so she took her boots of (middle of winter) and someone stole them. For the longest time she said she’d watch people’s feet to see if they had them on. Then first time taking her to see Dwight I had our boss give her weekend off she was upset didn’t know why so I told her we were going one place and she was not happy didn’t want to go there. When we got to destination I gave her the tickets and did she ever cry. We had an amazing time. There was a few hiccups that weekend yet we were able to laugh them off. When my kids were little always stayed at parents house on Christmas Eve yet first year in my home they stayed here. Dad and I burnt the food to point you couldn’t eat it mom was so upset with us. Then a few days later and for years after we laughed about it. Everyone who met my mom loved her as it was so easy to do. Not a moment will go by that I don’t think of her. She was a angel on earth and now in heaven. She was there holding my hand when I delivered first child and everything after that. When I had second child she drove us home from hospital and everything after that. So many memories that I treasure.

Ruthie had unlimited patience and kindness. Ray and I were friends in high school and I remember my first time meeting her in their kitchen. She was fun and so nice. Later on i got to work with her at Amigone’s Steakhouse. She taught me so much! It’s the endless patience and kindness that she showed me that I try to have everyday. Ray, Dennis and Deana I’m sorry for your loss.

Ruth was a dear friend from the early 1950's, in Poulsbo, Washington. We shared many good times and mischievous times together. Then our lives took different paths and we lost touch for 50 years, her living in NY, and I in California raising our families. We reunited in 2007, and those last years have been a treasure. I will miss our phone visits, but, she will always have a special place in my heart and very special memories will keep her Near and Dear! Carol Baker

My member and my friend Ruth. I enjoyed taking care of your banking needs for the past twenty years. All of our talks will stay in my heart. Thank you for always making me laugh and always leaving me with a smile. She was a perfect member she knew her account number and her paperwork was always filled out perfectly….my perfect member that made my job easier! One day Ruth came in and she told me she wasn’t feeling well as she was saying it she started to faint! I grabbed her arm and held her up and I screamed somebody help us! And my coworkers Roxanne came running with a chair to sit her down on. The ambulance was called and I went to check on her. I noticed her arm was bleeding. I said “oh my God I hurt you!” The ambulance lady said “NO YOU SAVED HER FROM HITTING HER HEAD AND THAT COULD HAVE BEEN WAY WORSE!” To my Ruthie I will miss you my lil love!! All of our talks….awe you loved your Mustang but you had to get rid of it. Forever my friend and never will I forget you! I love you Ruthie!
