Douglas E. Wright passed away June 26, 2024.  Born May 7, 1967 in Lockport he was a son of Henry J. and Judith A. (Crane) Wright.  Doug worked for the NYS Corrections System for 20 years at Orleans Corrections in Albion, NY retiring April 17, 2023.  He enjoyed golfing, gaming, and was a Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan.

Doug is survived by his siblings Henry (Michelle) Wright, III, Jeanine (Peter) Denes, Matthew (Sheila) Wright, Patrick (Christina) Wright Sr., John (Sabrina) Wright, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Waters, and Derek (Jessica Breunig) Wright; also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday, June 30th from 1-4 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 1st at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
