Aunt Mary brought a blackberry pie homemade from her backyard to Thanksgiving. It was natural and understated, just like her. I think about it often. She was such a hard worker that she couldn’t always come to holidays. I cherish this day specifically at Newfane church. The most memorable pie, holiday and person ever. Also have fond memories of listening to records with her when she visited NYC. Love your gem of a self forever Aunt Mary.

My deepest condolences to Mary's family.
Mary and I (Debbie Donato DuPont) were each other's first best friends. We lived across the street from each other. We use to sleep out on her front porch, I went on my first real vacation with her and her Mom. Mary use to call me her G.A. (guardian angel), because I use to try to keep her out of trouble, didn't always work out though.
Mary was indestructible and larger than life. I always envied her lack of fear. Mare had a huge heart when it came to her Mom and grandparents, and when she named her seconddaughter Audrey Rose, i knew why.
When Mary's granddaughter was born, she came to where I worked to let me know her name was Noelle, just like my daughters.
I have so many memories flooding my mind now, wishing I had five more minutes with her.
