Mary Ann was so kind to everyone. I remember when she moved in to the house on Corinthia street and I lived with Bushy in the next block. She decided to paint the living room before moving in. I don't know if we had more paint on us or the walls did. We laughed for hours. She was a wonderful woman and always willing to help if you needed a answer to a medical question or just someone to talk to. She will be missed by all that loved her. Mary was a gentle, bright and totally a nonjudgmental soul. The very fact she cared for me as a friend made me feel safe on this earth and helped me accept my own faults with less harshness. There are many nurses who are examples of all nursing should be but none more so that MaryAnn. The world is less than it was for many. God bless all who treasured her...she was an honor to know.

I was one of her patients at LMH...plenty of times as a child! Lol, I am now 57 years old, lol...The woman could establish an IV line in me when nobody could! I can remember her being paged to come and help take care of me. GOD BLESS HER....What a treasure she is and was....Never forget. Love. Carol Stephanski-Horton
