Ginnie and Family,
I was so sorry to see that your husband and Dad had passed away. My deepest condolences to you all. I have wonderful memories of LSHS and I always held Hank in the highest regard. He introduced me to Bowling Green State University and I was all the better for that.
We shared rides there and back on several occasions and I have great memories of those times.
He was a class guy all the way.

I had the pleasure of knowing Hank since childhood. His mother was one of my mother’s closet friends. He was my favorite friend of my cousin, Rhodes Palmer, and I am glad we kept in touch all these years. My deepest sympathy to Ginie and the Schmidt family. Hank will be missed but never forgotten. I am sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Schmidt. He was a friend of my dad for many many years . I actually used Mr. Schmidt a few times and was always a true professional at his job and a well respected man . Mr. Schmidt will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was such a gentleman and always went out of his way to say hello. My sympathy and condolences to his family.

I’m so very sorry to hear about Hank. My mom (Ann Gephart) adored him and worked with him for many years. She also adored your children who she babysat overnights sometimes. They lovingly called her Annie Fannie and played practical jokes on her. She always came home with the best stories. I had the privilege of growing up with Hank and Ginny as friends of the family, as both of them were former students of my parents. The practical joking was definitely memorable as I recall one annual Christmas party where they slipped a raw egg into my dad’s suit jacket, short sheeted their bed and put cellophane on the toilet seat. Our family always enjoyed it when they visited.
I had the honor of beginning my law career in Hank’s office and always respected his professionalism and commitment to the practice.
My thoughts and prayers are with Ginny and the family and I hope that you find comfort in all of the people whose lives your family has touched.
