Mr Chamberlin wasa friend of my oarents Wally and Rosemary Sidebottom. He
hired me when I was fairly Green to the Commercial and Industrial phases of Building. He became a Great teacher and influence in my success as a Business owner myself on the Island of Maui Hawaii.
I did like to purposely do little or say little things that all he could do was look at me in a confused state and shake his head and walk away. Lol
My condolences to the family. I have the utmost respect for that man.
A Hui Ho ( until we meet again) Dave.
" Don't cry because of what's happening, Let's smile because it Happened"
We were all blessed by that man's presence.
Aloha to the family

Sorry that I'm not home and that I won't be at Mass. Dave and I had a mutual friend from Watertown and always had a frame of reference when we'd meet. We often shared a pew at StJohn's these last few years, when I was home after your mom died. She had been a great choice for a wife and they were a great couple. I trust you all are at peace. Doc

Dear Mike and Lara- I am so sorry for the loss of your dad, my uncle David. He was certainly one of a kind and made everyone laugh with his quick wit and honesty. I think we were all a bit intimidated by him when we were younger, but the years softened him and he began a man to truly love and admire. He was always so nice to not only me, but Mike and my girls as well. We love you and send you strength for healing❤️

Mike and Lara,
So sorry to hear about the loss of Uncle David, one of the biggest personalities in a family of many. There was never a doubt when he was around because he was sure to make his presence known - and always ready with a one-liner. He's been telling me since high school (30 years ago) that I was "big enough to eat hay and sh*t in the street" whenever I saw him. Then at some point I became "Jethro" so of course, he was Uncle Jed to me.
I was so glad he and Lara were able to pull together the last-minute family gathering at the lake last summer. We all noted how happy he was being with his extended family. We will all miss him.

Dave was one of my best buddies in high school and my freshman roommate at Clarkson. Although we had little personal contact in later years, I have the fondest memories of the fun we enjoyed together back in the day! I'm shocked to hear of his passing and my heart goes out to his family and friends, of which I'm sure there are many. He was a real winner!!

Mike & Lara,
So sorry for the passing of your father. He was a HUGE personality and will be a HUGE loss in the hearts of so many lives that he touched, mentored and loved over the years. The Gordon Chamberlain will forever miss the biggest personality and Patriarch of the family.
While I think Mike and I pissed David off more than make him laugh when we were together, Mike and I still laugh our asses off over telling the stories we got in trouble for. Most notable to me was the time he got a call from their swim club with complaints of his son and friends obnoxious behavior in the pool. By the time he came down to pick us up we were in the showers still being load and obnoxious. He walked right into the shower, ordered us jackasses to get out and then smacked my bare ass so hard when we walked by him.

I was sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He owned the building (Edwards Vacuum) where I work. It was always nice to see Dave when he came in and I enjoyed talking with him. He will be missed.

I am so sad sad to hear of Dave's passing.
Dave was special to me in that both he and I shared a passion for the construction industry. I feel fortunate to have worked three summers for the D.R. Chamberlain Corp as a summer laborer. The guys I worked with and the experience I gained there catapulted my career in construction.
Dave was good to me and kept tabs on me through my parents for over thirty years!!
My deepest condolances to the family.
Dave will be missed by all.

Mike, Kyle called me about Dave’s passing. You cannot find a better and more honorable man. Working with Dave was always so a pleasure as he told you what he expected and all you had to do was perform. Our ski trips with Dave were the best trips.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Let Kyle or me know if you need anything.

Dr.John Hurley. David and Mary Lou married the same year as Betsy and I. Our paths crossed and a wonderful friendship developed with many “one liners” along the way. I admit to a healthy appetite in those early years and David loved to announce ““Don’t follow John Hurley in the buffet line”. David’s humor and friendship will be missed by his family and his many friends.
