Charles E. Wheeler passed away January 1, 2024.  Born June 16, 1934 in Lockport he was the son of Gordon and Helen (Reeson) Wheeler.  Charles served in the US Army from 1960 to 1962, owned his own business Charles E. Wheeler Hardwood Flooring in Lockport, and enjoyed fishing.  He was predeceased by his wife, Joan (Guest) Wheeler on March 23, 2023. 

Charles is survived by his sons Paul (Kathy) and Bryant (Lynn); four grandchildren Charlie, Jessica, Samantha, Meghan, and great grandchild Elijah. 

Relatives and friends may call Friday, January 5th 4-7 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6th at 10 AM.  Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.  Donations to Christ Community Church, 140 Genesee St., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandknatd.com.
