Peggy was a remarkable woman and a very good friend. I will miss her very much. I first met Peggy at the Chapel, while attending their college and career group. Later, Peggy and I reconnected at Ridgewood Bible Church. Over the years, we shared a mutual interest in the Shaklee products and attended a St. Louis conference and several smaller local meetings, together. At Ridgewood, Peggy attended the Ladies’ Sunday School class. In class, she was an astute Bible student, an encourager, and a prayer warrior. It was evident to all that Peggy loved the Lord. Recently when I broke my shoulder and had surgery, Peggy called me and offered to bring a meal. I appreciated that greatly, but told her that she needed to take care of herself first. She was always thinking of others. When I needed prayer, I knew she was praying for me. Peggy was ready to go home to be with her Lord and Savior. But her thoughts were also with her loved ones whom she would leave behind. Recently, Peggy had told me how the Lord had taken home six people whom she had known, this past year. We then talked about the Lord’s soon coming for His church, the rapture. When I mentioned that those believers, who have gone before us, would not miss out on the rapture, but that the dead in Christ would rise first, Peggy lit up with the biggest smile. Now that she is home with the Lord, I believe that her smile is even bigger. It has been a blessing knowing Peggy, and I know that it will not be much longer before I see her again, when I too will meet up with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We enjoyed a glorius day sailing on Lake Erie with Peggy and Dennis. Pefect winds, warm temperatures, and lots of laughter among friends. It was so wonderful to see Peggy smile and take in all of nature's beauty. I do believe Peggy may have steered the boat for a short time while navigating the waters. Peggy, we will miss your beautiful smile, warmth, and fierce determination to take on anything that comes your way. As you sail over the horizon, may you find peace and everlasting life along heaven's shores. Love, Chris and Gale

Peggy was a woman with such soft, gentle and gracious love that so clearly came from the wellspring of Life. You could not help but feel the warmth of Jesus’ love shining from her when you entered her home. I loved how she celebrated every life close to her and how she bore so much suffering with grace and contentment. She found rest in the Lord in her soul during her time on earth and now she is experiencing it fully with the Father. Peggy was an amazing example to me of a woman of faith, love and servanthood and I am so grateful to have known her.

Peggy and Dennis spent some time getting supportive care at our office (Colden Health and Wellness) and we truly enjoyed spending time with them. It was obvious to everyone here how much they loved each other and their positive energy rubbed off on all of us. What a blessing it was for us to spend time with such a wonderful couple! Peggy was such a vibrant and special woman and she will surely be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
