Obituary of John C. Murphy
John C. Murphy passed away on April 16, 2023, in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. Born February 17, 1947, in Lockport he was the son of Edward J. and Katherine Murphy. John earned his MBA from Northeastern University and was self-employed owning and operating IT Management Services LLC. He was a very kind and gentle husband and father prioritizing his family over everything else. He also enjoyed playing golf and basketball.
John is survived by his wife of 53 years Gayle (Nichols) Murphy; three daughters Caryn (Shaun) Harris, Maureen Murphy, and Lisa (Carlos) Serra; grandchildren Elizabeth (Steven) Hight, Emily Harris, and Selah Harris; brother William (Mary Jane) Murphy and several nieces and nephews.
