As a child it was my desperate desire to snap and pop my gum like Mrs. Tuck could do. One day, driving me to school in the rain (almost the only time we weren’t walking en masse to school - what a group that was!) I asked her how to do that cool thing with her gum. I knew it would annoy my mom so much! She told me how and I practiced relentlessly until I got it right!!! It did annoy my mom…I can still do it though. JoAnn was so important in my life as a child- I’m so grateful my mom asked her to be my other mom before and after school. My favorite childhood memories center around the Tuck family- love to you all.
