I carry fond memories of my uncle from when I was little. Whether swimming with him in the summer or seeing the Bills take on the Dolphins - he was keen on making fun memories with us. Unfortunately, we were unable to stay close as I got older - I only wish I had been able to spend more time with him. Rest in peace Uncle Mike.
Love,
David

My memories are primarily of Mike as Helen's young first born who energized the house during visits. In recent years, we shared an interest in our common ancestry, and the struggles of our amazing grandparents and distant ancestors from Bombla who fled their homeland to make it to Niagara Falls in search of a better life. Looking from afar, Mike seemed to bring the ancestral energy and sense of struggle for a better life to others - a great legacy. 2nd cousin Tony Rutkowski.

The family of Lee 'Barney' Kellogg (1932-1995) and Joyce, extend to each of you our most-sincere sympathy in the passing of your loved one. Be strong; I have faith you will.
I retired from NYSUT/Jamestown in 1997, Mike was probably a fairly-new employee in Buffalo WNY Office at that time. I do believe we met a few times during his tenure.

My sincere condolences to the Preskop family. Mike "Bud" coached us as Freshman at Niagara Wheatfield in 1974. He always took time to talk sports with us at lunch or just gathering in the hall before class. Prayers for the family.

Dear Preskop Family
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Mike. He was a dear colleague and friend of many years. He was extremely smart, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He could take complicated problems and reach clear conclusions, a very valuable trait in any endeavor but especially so for a professional in a tough line of work.
Mike was an accomplished labor leader, both with NYSUT and as the treasurer of the Western New York Labor Federation. Mike could always be relied on for clear and helpful advice, no matter the issue.
I will miss him badly.
My deepest sympathy.
Richard Lipsitz, President Emeritus
Western New York Area Labor Federation, AFLCIO
