Dick was a great guy to work with. he worked with me at the NYSDEC and as the Town supervisor. he even taught me a couple things about hunting. he will be missed. my deepest condolences

Mr Lang (coach) will be fondly remembered by all the lives he touched in and out of the wrestling community..Never has a man devoted more time and shown more passion in all he did..Family , conservation and yes wrestling were just a few examples of Dick's dedication to all he enjoyed in life..I had the privilege of working with him when he started the Newfane Kid's Wrestling club in the 1980s...Could not have asked for a better mentor or friend during those years with the club..The word "coach" should have a picture of Dick next to it in the dictionary!! Who didn't enjoy watching him balance on 2 legs of a chair while coaching , wondering how the chair stayed upright...Classic Mr Lang coaching style not to be forgotten..He will be deservedly inducted into the Newfane Sports Hall of Fame in a couple of weeks..He will always be "Coach"...to all his former wrestlers !! Best to Gretchen and the entire Lang family...Nick and Barb Converso...
