George E. Kugler, Sr. passed away on September 4, 2022. He was born on October 3, 1943 in Lockport, New York a son of John and Olive (Engert) Kugler.  George graduated from DeSale’s High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Niagara University.  He served in the US Army from 1965 until 1967.  George was the owner of Wm. Kugler & Bro., Inc.  He enjoyed skiing, traveling and riding his motorcycle. 

George is survived by his wife Suzanne (Nicholas) Kugler; children Anne (Mark) Durham, George (Katie) Kugler, Jr., Carolyn (Tom Sandt) Kugler; siblings Dr. John (Linda) Kugler, Jr., Candace (Jon) Dussault; grandson George Kugler III and step-granddaughter Jessica Durham. He was predeceased by his sister Karen (late Raffaele) Mendicino and his step-grandson Alexander Durham.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday September 8, 2022 from 4-7PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee St. Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday September 9th at 10 AM in St. Brendan on the Lake 3455 Ewings Road Newfane, NY. Burial in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association WNY Chapter, 6400 Sheridan Dr., Suite 320, Amherst, NY 14221 or to a charity of one's choice would be apprecaited.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
