Obituary of Marvin Schoonens
Marvin J. Schoonens, aged 93, passed away on August 10, 2022, in Pembroke Pines, FL. Former Lockport & Olcott Beach resident. Worked for many years as a milkman for Gascoyne Dairy, and a retired salesman for Erie Liquors. His passion was music and he played the drums and sang with many local bands in Lockport. During retirement in Florida he worked the condo circuit singing & drumming with big bands and at the beach boardwalk in Hollywood, FL.
Pre-deceased by his wife Eleanor. He is survived by his sons, Marc Terrance and Timothy Schoonens of Pembroke Pines, FL, sisters, Joyce Roeseler of Wrights Corners, Judy Allen of Hollywood, FL, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Tuesday August 16th from 4-7PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee St, Lockport. Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Online Condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com
