Papa, you will be so, so missed by many. I’ll always remember our Olcott visits with your sloppy Joe’s and corn. Your big band performances and singing will always be watched and listen to. May you Rest In Peace and find eternal happiness. Love you.

I'll always remember Uncle Marv delivering milk and taking his coffee break at our house. And the time his milk truck got stuck in a snow drift in our driveway and had to be pulled out by Rathke's tow truck. Then, of course, he always had at least 2 or 3 new jokes to tell you every time he saw you! You will be missed.

We knew Marv for many years...beginning with the Field Day Parades...He was a Drum major with the Eagles Band. later years he made his summer home in Olcott....he had a great singing voice, a great entertainer and a great personality. I have several of the CD's that he had made. Always so very nice and pleasant to talk with. My condolences to all of his family. He will be missed. ♥♥

Marv was a very kind and caring person to everyone. He will be sadly missed by all. The funniest memory we have of him was when he played music at the ship and shore restaurant and he came out singing a song dressed up as a woman. He was so entertaining and made everyone laugh. He could also impersonate just about every other musician. He was a very talented man and was a kind and warm person. We also were very fortunate to be able to hear him play with his band on the boardwalk in Hollywood Florida. We will miss you very much Marv! We hope you will be entertaining everyone in heaven. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy go out to the family.
