Obituary of William Roussie
Roussie, William R. passed away August 4, 2022 in Lockport Rehab & Health Care Center. He served in the US Navy from 1963-1964 and earned his master’s degree in Science Education working for the Williamsville School District teaching Business for 30 years, retiring in 1998. William was a member of St. Mary’s Church Swormville and was a Cambria Volunteer Exempt. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Sharon (Smith) Roussie; daughters Alysia (Kevin) Cantrell, Suzanne Roussie, and Nicole (Mike) Jeswald; grandchildren Isabelle and Gabrielle Cantrell, Salvatore, Leo, and Scarlett Jeswald; predeceased by father Wilfred, mother Ruth (McAllister), and brother Frederick Roussie. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, August 9th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, August 10th at 10:30 AM in St. Mary’s Church Swormville, 6919 Transit Rd., Swormville. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
