I worked with Gerry for many years at LMH. I remember, with great fondness, the times that I would be assigned a case in ICU/1West for social work services, and Gerry was always there with information and happiness. There was a great group of professional staff that worked on those units and I would always include Gerry when I was dealing with any of them. I loved her "shoot from the hip" demeanor, one that usually filled with a lot of humor. The world will miss our precious Geraldine.. .
Sorry to hear this Clara. Not that we don't want her to have the opportunity to get her reward, but that our clique is getting smaller and smaller, and LMH is almost done. Few hospitals provided care like they got in Lockport, and we were happy to go to work every see faces we knew, and were glad they showed up, too. I'm not going to be able to be at Mass, but there will be one said here in Durham, too. Doc
