Rosemary Bower passed away December 23, 2020. She was born on March 20, 1925 in Lockport, New York, where she remained her entire life.  

Rosemary was a long-time personal secretary for the Niagara County Treasurer. She was also a founding board member of the Niagara County Federal Credit Union, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and sang with the choir at St. Mary's R.C. Church.  She was the first secretary of the Lockport Little League and a Club 50 member.  She loved spending time with family and friends and loved her visits to Maryland where she held court with her many friends and admirers. Her favorite pastimes were bowling, bingo and story-telling.

Rosemary was predeceased by her beloved husband Frederick Bower in 1968; brothers Carl, Jr., Rowland, Sr., and Richard Blackley; and grandson Roderick Bower. She is survived by her children Stephen (Jené), James, Neal (Monica), Daniel (Beth), and her sister-in-law Theresa Blackley. She is also survived by her grandchildren Fred, Chris, Chad, Amy, Gage, Patrick, Jennifer and Peter, and 8 great grandchildren. 

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at 12 PM at St. Mary's Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Visit pruddenandkandt.com
