Obituary of Charles Rohde

Charles P. Rohde passed away September 1, 2020 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis in Hospice House.  Born February 6, 1940 in Lockport he was the son of Herman and Katherine (Winter) Rohde.  He served in the US Navy from 1958 to 1962 and worked for Harrison Radiator Div. of GM where he was a Boiler Operator.  He was a member of the B. Leo Dolan Post 410 where he served as Past Commander, Navy Marine Club, VFW, South Lockport Volunteer Fire Co., and also was on the Niagara County Dive Team.

Charles is survived by his children Jeffrey (Colleen) Rohde, Wendy (Sterling) Gray, Mary (Jonathan Adcock) Rohde, Beth (James) Neidrauer, and David (Jeri Lyn) Rohde; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren soon to be six; siblings Shirley Class, Jane (late Michael) Crowe, and late Herbert Rohde and Jean Hermance; brother-in-law of Kathy Rohde and Paul Hermance; also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, September 4th from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Private funeral services will be held.  Interment will be Cold Springs Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 or Team MSSUCKS, Inc., 187 High St., Apt. 2, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
