Although I didn’t spend a lot of time with my Great Uncle Roy I can say I have heard so many stories about him and my grandfather. Especially about when they were young. I know it wasn’t an easy life for then growing up but they both excelled to defend our great country and go on to have amazing lives. May you Rest In Peace.

My Uncle Roy was a great man. I can recall his brother Bob (my father) telling me many stories of their childhood escapades. He and my father were two tough depression kids who grew up tough - served their country proudly as Veterans - and continued to serve as dedicated Civil Servants throughout their paralleled careers at the US Postal Service. He will be missed not only by his grandchildren - great grandchildren - and dog. But he will also always be remembered by his nephews and great nieces & great nephews s well as their spouses and families.
May you Rest In Peace Uncle Roy. Hope your brother and yourself are back together making home made sling shots once again. And sharing old memories of your childhood together while making new ones. He always spoke so proudly of his older brother and his sacrifice to his country.
GOD BLESS !!!!
