Many years ago a very young David and I were playing at his house. For some reason David was swinging a belt around. I'm not sure if he was aiming for me, but he hit me in the arm on my fresh vaccination scab. I didn't like that so I bit him! When my mother found out what had happened she sent me back to apologize. I don't remember David swinging his belt around again after that and this was the last and only time I bit anyone . . . but I'm still sorry I bit you, David.
The news of David's passing has saddened me deeply. We grew up together as buddies, classmates, and neighbors. In our youth we shared numerous interesting projects and times together and frequently exchanged little birthday gifts. I was looking for a “240Z” tie tack for his birthday. He loved his cars.
David was a good friend. I'll miss him.
May the Lord comfort and bless Linda, Katherine, Jim, and all the family.
With sympathy,
Dale Bane

Sincere condolences to the family. Dave was a great friend and classmate in high school. And fellow Loblaws stock boy! We worked side by side at what was probably the first job for each of us! Good times and good and fond memories. Rest in peace my friend. Jack Weet
