Obituary of Lucille I. Smith
Lucille I. Smith passed away October 1, 2019 in Lockport Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. Born September 8, 1929 in North Tonawanda she was the daughter of Eugene and Gertrude (Hebeler) Metzinger. Lucille was a bus driver for Ridge Road Express Bus Company in Lockport. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, wintering in Florida, and especially loved to spend time with her family.
Lucille is survived by her husband of 68 years, Kenneth A. Smith; children Donna (Bryce) McMichael, Nancy (Joseph) Baldassaro, Mary Lou (Jay Hughes) Donahue, and Kenneth (Cheryl) Smith; grandchildren Justin, Matthew, Nicole, Sarah, Aaron, Eric, Carly, and Collin; eight great grandchildren; sister Thelma Eckert; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, Oct. 4th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 5th at 10 AM.
