Shirley always had a smile to share and kind words for all when I saw her at The Dale. She had many friends there who will miss her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, whom she adored.

I remember Aunt Shirley as a beautiful Blonde women. When Uncle Vince took My sister ,me and I think my brother to meet her she lived in an apartment on East Ave. My Cousin Sandra was little maybe two or three. They had a wedding reception at the Locks Plaza Hotel. It was fun. They had fun parties at there house on Day Road. There was a beautiful portrait of her she had I think drawn of her in NYC on there Honeymoon. It always hung in there living room. I thought she looked like she was a movie star!! The last vivid memory I will say is the day she brought Sal home from the hospital. He was premature. He was so little !! She later him on my Grandma Licata's couch and he had a little hat on. We could look at him nothold him ..he was so little. We where so excited to see him. Dear Aunt Shirley...now you are reunited with Uncle Vince and your baby Richard.

Sandy, Sal and Anthony, So sorry to hear about shirley’s passing. I have fond memories of our crazy gourmet club, fun-filled parties at the Pernas, picnics in the garage and lunches inthe dining room of your lovely home on Day Road. I personally also remember vacations in Daytona where Carm and my Tom accompanied Shirley as she sang country about Her Man. She and I went on a cruise together where she elected to do the many activities I chose and which later she said she’d never do again. She had wanted to play bingo and gamble. Shirley was a creative lady with jewelry, shirts, and hair and one marvelous cook. She shalll be missed. Unfortunately I am in New Mexico and can't attend but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Jane
