Fr. Don's kindness and patience in counseling helped me form my strong faith throughout life's joys and sorrows. Thank you for your prayerful presence in my life from St. Mary of Sorrows days (late 1950's) through officiating at my wedding, dinners at my home, sharing your travel stories of your trip to Rome, helping me through marital separation, and ever present friendship. The news of Msgr. Wanglers passing came as a shock, however the memories he left with us will always be treasured. From the days that he was pastor at St. John’s and our working together to the nights that we enjoyed on the golf coarse. As we reflect upon the many times spent together either at his house on Rochester Rd. or within our home his kindness, compassion and keen sense of humor will never be forgotten. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family and Sister Kathleen at this most difficult time. Sincere, Lisa & Jim Budde
