Dear Marky Family, I regret that I was not able to share my condolences in person, but I have been ill all week. Your Mom - what a wonder! We met her and your Dad at Briody's when my mother Pat Riley was a resident there. Your mother was a charming table companion and a delightful friend during that time. I will always remember her coming to find my dad John Riley and me so we could "say goodbye to George" (who was also a darling. I have a lovely photo of them from those days that I keep on my desk.) Kindness is in short supply so much in this world, but your darling - and often snarky- mother was the epitome of that quality. I am certain she's gone straight to God, where I hope the Rileys and the Markys can see one another again. My siblings' and my prayers are with you.
