Obituary of Margaret Smith

Margaret M. Smith passed away November 2, 2010 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born April 14, 1935 Lancaster, NY she was the daughter of Simon T. and Lillian (Hedges) Buehlmann. Margaret taught for ten years for the Cheektowaga-Sloan School District. She also taught for 15 years at Jack & Jill Nursery School at the Assembly of God Church. Margaret enjoyed her church where she played piano for many years, served in Children's Ministry and led Women's Bible Study. She loved her family and she loved to cook for them. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Earl E. Smith on June 26, 2007.
Margaret is survived by her children Earl E. "Buddy" (Christine) Smith of Seaville, NJ, Eric (Cindy) Smith of Lockport, Jocelyn "Joy" (Timm) Rowswell of Newfane, Heather (Kenneth) Ozzimo of Niagara Falls, Leslie (Kenneth) Lute of Ludlow, MA, Amber (Ted) Drews of Clarence and Saraj (Greggory) Olcott of Winona, MN; grandmother of thirty and one great grandson; sister of the late Russell Buehlmann; sister-in-law of Gail Buehlmann of Marilla, NY and Frank (Marjorie) Morse of Alexander, NY, several nieces, nephews and Nibbles her dear dog.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM in the Assembly of God Church, 200 Beattie Ave., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
