To all of Marge's family, Please forgive me for calling her "Marge" but that is how we knew her during the 13 + years that we served at the Assembly of God in Lockport. She was a faithful lady in every way. My children were blessed to have a good start to their educational experience at Jack 'N' Jill Nursery School. Marge was a devoted teacher who loved the children that came under her instruction. While we sorrow at her loss, we do not sorrow as those who have no hope. Marge loved Jesus and served Him faithfully. She is now enjoying the rewards of her labors. Be assured of our prayers for all of you. God is our comfort. Lean on Him for the strength you need.

After having just gone through this ourselves the question for us is where do we start? So many fond memories of a woman who responded to all the highs and struggles of life with such a positive attitude! Even toward the end of her earthly walk commenting to her children that she was sorry she was putting them through this, as she laid waiting for her Savior to take her home. She was the arm that was called upon when there was trouble and the shoulder that was wet during the difficult times. She was the one with the biggest smile in the audience when the grandkids completed a concert and the waist that recieved the warmest hugs. Whether her music on Sunday morning or the meal prepared for the birthday party or even the cute little waddle as she strolled by the house being walked by Nibbles ..... she will be missed. I do think of the scripture in Heb. 12:2 as it starts by saying; " Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith..." we know Who started our faith, when we were saved by His grace, but we also need to remeber Who it is that is faithful in completing it as well. As times like this are a huge struggle and many questions surround the pain of losing (temporarily) one that we love dearly, we can be thankful looking back and seeing the way she finished "the race!" Our prayer is that the Lord Jesus Christ will be honored and glorified through the memories of this dear woman who touched so many lives... Matt5:4 "Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted"

Joy, Buddy, Heather, Leslie, Amber, Eric & Sarah, I hope you find comfort in the memories of your special Mom and in knowing that she was loved by many. Your parents always made me feel a part of your family whenever I was at your home in Lancaster. I'm sure your Mom will be missed, but she left behind a large family that will keep her spirit alive within all of you. My thoughts are with you. Maggie

To all the Smith family - My deepest condolences for your loss. Marge was a wonderful woman. Her and Earl were like parents to me growing up, and they will always hold a special place in my heart. Sadly, my father Dave also passed away recently just a few days before on 10/29, so I understand how hard it must be right now. Remembering how much they both loved family and friends, and the love they had for life itself helps them live on forever in our hearts.
