Obituary of Mary Jane Sabella

Mary Jane Sabella passed away July 26, 2018 in Elderwood of Lockport.  Born December 14, 1924 in Buffalo she was the daughter of Ralph and Mary (LoFaso) Maurella.  Mary was a proud 66 year member of Good Shepherd R.C. Church where she was active in the Altar & Rosary Society.  She belonged to the Pendleton Historical Society and both the Pendleton and Wendleville Senior Citizen Centers.  Mary enjoyed reading, working on crossword puzzles, and especially being a homemaker and spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Stephen Sabella.

Mary is survived by her children Darlene Seeloff, Stephen Sabella, Michele (Douglas) Rankie and late Dennis Sabella; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her sister Melvina Komroy.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, July 31st from 3-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, August 1st at 10 AM in Good Shepherd RC Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Road, Pendleton.  Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.  Donations to the Church or to Elderwood of Lockport would be appreciated by the family.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
