Obituary of John L. Sokolofsky

John L. Sokolofsky passed away January 7, 2018 in Eastern Niagara Hospital. Born in Lackawanna June 22, 1944. He is the son of John A. and Helen (Custard) Sokolofsky. John worked for Occidental Chemical in Lockport and Wilmington where he was a senior lab technician. He enjoyed playing Jeopardy, hunting, fishing, and was avid gun collector.
John is survived by his wife Candace (Delahunt) Sokolofsky; children Mark (Janice) Sokolofsky and Kristine Sokolofsky; sisters-in-law Sharon (Bill) Papin, Toni Delahunt, brother-in-law Paul Patterson; grandsons Nicholas Sokolofsky and Josiah Walker; siblings Bette Jean (Rick) Lennert, Paul, and David ; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, Jan. 12th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 13th at 10 AM. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery with military honors. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
