Stacey Micoli- A wonderful, funny, talented, loving, beautiful woman. She was not only my co-worker but a caring friend. She was so strong in the her fight and she never gave up. I am in awe of her courage. My thoughts go out to her family and her husband Matt. He was a godsend to Stacey. We all could see the love shining through every time we looked at them. She will be sadly missed by us all. We know she rests in God's arms now, no more pain. Loving thoughts, Karen Tracy

Our hearts are heavy with sadness. Stacey was everything a Mother and Dad could want. Her brother, Alan, has lost his dearest friend, as has Matt. Matt gave her a love that will be with her forever. Stacey's love of life and all that it offered her was so contagious in her smile. She glowed and will continue to glow in our hearts. Sympathy and Blessings to the entire family.

Stacey, Although we came in contact infrequently, separated over the miles, we'll always remember your gracious demeanor and especially your lovely smiles. You showed so much courage and we're grieved you lost your fight Your family friends and Hospice rallied around you but it still could not make things right. We were only able to show our love and support, the rest was up to God. I can envision when you knew it was your final moment, you departed this life for the next with one last beautiful smile, and a nod. Please give your Aunt Dorothy who was also taken from us in the same way a huge hug from all of us Rest in Peace. Sing with the Angels............ Jerry, Sam, Ritch and Rod Ritz

For the brief time I got to know Stacey, I was fortunate to share in her musical and dancing talents, but more importantly I was blessed to share in the beauty of her soul and her spirit and her smile. She was an amazing gift to the lives of many, and my thoughts are with those closest to her with heavy hearts that are struggling to deal with her passing. In times like these, we must look past the loss that we must endure, and rejoice in the beautiful place that Stacey has arrived, where there is peace and love and no more of the pain and suffering she was forced to endure. It is in this place I look forward to the day that is brightened by her smile once again.

During the time I knew Stacey in Opera-Lytes, she was someone I could look to as a role model. Her talent and amazing voice weren't the only things that made her special--she was always filling the room with laughter, jokes, and encouragement. Once I told her at an audition that I was nervouse I wasn't good enough for the part I wanted. She told me that if I wanted something I just had to go for it, and that's the example she showed in her life too. Stacey's positive presence will be greatly missed. She and all those who love her will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Liz & Roger For Parents "I'll lend you for a little time a child of mine he said, for you to love the while she lives and morn for when she's dead... It may be six or seven years or twenty two or three, but will you, till I call her back, take care of her for me. She'll bring you all her charms to gladden you and shall her stay be brief, you'll have her lovely memories as solace for your grief. I cannot promise she will stay, since from all earth return. But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn. I've looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true, and from the throngs that crowd life's lanes, I have selected you. Now will you give her all your love, nor think the labor vain, nor hate me, when I call her back again? I fancied that I heard them say -Dear Lord, thy will be done, for all the joy thy child shall bring, the risk of grief shall run. We'll shelter her with tenderness, we'll love her while we may, for all the happiness we've known forever grateful stay. But if the angels call for her, much sooner than we've planned, we'll brave bitter grief that comes and try to understand." author unknown - God Bless your angel -Stacy You are in my thoughts and prayers. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Micoli: We have had the privilege of knowing Stacey because she sang with Vocalis and briefly with Schola Cantorum at St. Paul's Cathedral in Buffalo. It is with much regret that we grieve with you for her untimely death. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and all of the many friends that so loved her. Matt and The Micoli family, My sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved Stacey. She was, truly, one of the sweetest people I have ever met. In the 3 years that I attended UB with Stacey, I never heard her say a negative word. She was bright, beautiful , giving and, incredibly, talented. God blessed her with many gifts, not the least of which was a supportive, loving, family. When I visited her last week, it touched me, deeply, that, even though fatigued, Stacey made a grand effort to pull her arms out from underneath her blankets to give me a hug. A hug that, I believe, I needed more than she did. That is who Stacey was and IS. God has, obviously, chosen Stacey for a higher purpose that is better carried out from Heaven, where she, now, rests in His arms. May God bless you all as He has blessed all of us who knew Stacey. ~ Carolyn
