Mr. Wascovich: I was saddened to learn about the passing of Mrs. Wascovich. She was my 5th grade teacher at Charlotte Cross. Even after 50 years, I remember she was a dedicated and fun teacher. We were in her class when President Kennedy was assassinated and I remember she provided comforting words for what happened. May she rest in peace... - Andy Maslowski

Our sincere condolences to Fred and family. Eleanor was my classmate and friend. We had some good and crazy times together growing up. I am sad. I will miss her. I got my teaching job in Lockport, upon her recommendation. I loved Lockport and met my future husband there. So glad we got together a couple of years ago when we visited from FL.
