Mr. Wascovich:
I was saddened to learn about the passing of Mrs. Wascovich. She was my 5th grade teacher at Charlotte Cross. Even after 50 years, I remember she was a dedicated and fun teacher. We were in her class when President Kennedy was assassinated and I remember she provided comforting words for what happened. May she rest in peace...

Fred and family, we are very saddened to learn Eleanor has passed. She was a kind, sweet person that we enjoyed getting to know when we visited Lockport in 2007. You will be in our prayers as we know what a great loss this is for all of you.

Our sincere condolences to Fred and family. Eleanor was my classmate and friend. We had some good and crazy times together growing up. I am sad. I will miss her. I got my teaching job in Lockport, upon her recommendation. I loved Lockport and met my future husband there. So glad we got together a couple of years ago when we visited from FL. Rest in peace, dear friend. Mary and Ed Price
