To the entire Gately family,
Being a friend and former classmate of Diane's, playing sports with the Gately boys.......the one constant was always Mrs. Gately. She was always there. And a great person to talk to. She will be sorely missed. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Although sorrow fills the air today, may your wonderful memories fill the air of tomorrow and forever more. RIP Mrs. Gately.

Dorothy and Dick were good Neighbors, My family lived in Lockport with my sister (Emmajean) my parents (Paul and Doris) along with me (Paul) at 100 Spalding Street. I now live with my wife (Susan). in Pa. Our children live on Long Island. I'am now 70.
I know Dorothy will be missed. All our love to the rest of their family. This is so said.

Just thought about her last week, seriously. My Mom and her friends for many years and my Mom got her hair done by her every Thursday, and my haircuts usually on Saturdays! A GREAT woman and even greater friend! Her Christmas decorations, 2nd to none! I'll fondly remember her letting me sit in her ever constant remodeled kitchen and wait for my Mom or Grandma's hair to be coiffed. My condolences to the whole family!!!

Dick and Family - It is with a heavy heart that I send our sympathies to you and your family. A very special Lockport connection to me has now been lost. Spalding St. seems so long ago but very real with wonderful memories. Dorothy was always a joy to be around and I looked forward to reconnect on my visits home. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Dorothy at a Gately family event. I am so glad that I was able to chat with her for a few minutes and could tell her what an awesome son they had in Dan.
