Obituary of Robert J. Chatt

Robert J. Chatt passed away June 29, 2016 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Rochester, NY on November 30, 1925 he was the son of Charles and Christine (Fusaro) Chatt. Robert served in the US Army from 1944 to 1946 and graduated from Clarkson College of Technology earning his bachelor's degree. He worked as an electrical engineer for Harrison Radiator for 32 years retiring in 1986. Robert enjoyed the astronomy, photography, outdoors, backpacking and camping in the Adirondacks, and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his great grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his of 66 years wife Dorothy (Palmer) Chatt of Lockport; father of Robert C. (Fae) Chatt, David (Jeanine) Chatt, and Michael (Michelle) Chatt; grandfather of David (Jennifer), Andrew (Heather), Michael (Cherie), Robert (Tristan), and Thomas (Kiah) Chatt; great grandfather of Madeline, Peyton, and Rosalie; brother of the late Edward Chatt.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date, at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Donations to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org would be appreciated. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
