My heart dropped out of my chest when I went into work and heard that you had passed. You have been my absolute favorite patient for the last 11 years. Nobody else compares. Your love of your great grandchildren was apparent and amazing. From you I have learned that patience is a great gift to have; that the horrors of war can haunt a soul for a lifetime; that family is all; and that you are only as old as you feel. Which I know caught up to you in recent months with that old war torn knee of yours. In fact, that was the subject of our very first conversation, you brought it up as I was limping around with a broken toe. I truly cherish our conversations that we had over the years. I tried my absolute hardest to come out and sit with you for a few minutes whenever we happened to be at the pharmacy at the same time and I am so incredibly grateful to have known you. I feel like I lost a grandfather, I'm truly quite a mess right now. The world has lost a great one.
I will miss you dearly, Mr. Chatt. May you rest in peace.
Love,
Your Buddy

to all the Chatt family, Bob was my first boss at Hrd. He was an excellent boss and teacher. He was also a great person to know & work with early in my career and later after changing departments.Even today I remember and try to use his good advice. May your good memories of him carry you through!
