Doralyn Boye Marshall posted a condolence

My sincerest sympathy to all of Ruth's family. I last saw Ruth a good many years ago when she and Wally had a camper in Newfane. I stopped by then and had a nice chat with her. I am the last of the Boye grandchildren that lived close together on Willow Street that included Wally, Marie, Helen, Karl, and my brother Victor Boye. I still live in Lockport and am doing very well. I especially found interest in reading where all of Ruth and Wally's children now live and how their family has grown. My daughter Susan Marshall knew Robbie from high school and I remember his sisters mostly as little girls. Ruth's life was truly blessed and there are so many that will member her with fondness.

Grandma Ruth- I was so honored to be welcomed into your family with open arms and all the love you gave to me. Thanks for letting me win in Rummikub all those times. You are such an inspiration of what a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother is. I know your legacy will live on in all of us.
Love, Dan

JoDell and I offer our deepest condolences to my Aunt Ruths entire family. My memories of Aunt Ruth go back to my childhood in New York and to the summer of 1963 when I spent the summer in Lockport. I lived with my grandfather, Rev. Herman Meier and worked at the Upson Co. for my uncle, Walter Meier. It was, however, Aunt Ruth and Uncle Walt who made sure that I had all the creature comforts and a certain amount of freedom that summer.
Aunt Ruth is the last of the Meier children and as our family circle grows smaller, I'm thankful that she was with us for so many years. Rest in Peace, Aunt Ruth.
