I'll never forget walking into Long's Market (we all called in Clyde's) as a child and seeing his smiling face while I looked for my favorite candy bar, mostly Payday:) It seemed he was always greeting you with a big smile as you walked in. Always so friendly and welcoming. We lived close by on Walnut Street so I cut through Montondo's to get there. Still smile to this day thinking back to those fond childhood memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks Clyde for being an important part of my childhood and RIP.

Sorry I can't be there. He was glad to see me this summer, but it has been hard for him, as it has been for you. Your Mom will
have him reoriented before Mass tomorrow.

Clyde sponsored me in the Soap Box derby (Day's Market) back in 1961 and 1962. I will miss him as he always called me Red. Deepest sympathy to his entire family. He will be missed and always remembered.

SO sorry to hear this; as a kid I used to ride with Clyde and help him deliver groceries to his elderly customers WAY back in the day...RIP Clyde.
