John S. Ashe passed away May 15th, 2009 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born May 16th, 1951 in Batavia, NY he was the son of Alice Twardowski Ashe and the late Jack Ashe. John was a serviceman at Delphi Harrison retiring in 1998 after 30 years. He was a true outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and gardening. John also was an excellent wine maker. Besides his mother he is survived by his wife Kathleen Ryan Ashe; father of Jason Ashe of Farmington, NY, Scott Ashe of California and Alicia (Antonio) Dames of Lockport. He also is the brother of Gary (Margaret) Ashe of Lockport, Karen Lepsch of West Seneca and the late David Ashe. Friends may call Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. Lockport where funeral services will be held Sunday evening at 8 PM. Memorials to the American Heart Association, Heart Gifts Processing Center, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049 would be appreciated by his family.
