Thank you, Father Ed, for having us read Hamlet over and over until we understood the meaning, flow, and beauty of the language. You arranged for us, then, to see Richard Buron's version of Hamlet which was produced with minimal props, stage adornment, and in modern dress. We hung on the language in this production of Hamlet, as though it was unfolding before us. The scholarly rigor and the pure enjoyment to which you led us never left me, even now at 74 years of age.
