The view is greatly better up there anyways I bet. Mr. Petti was an amazing man, he taught me to believe in myself, to dream and never give up. He was there to encourage me in sports always impressed with my aggressiveness that I sometimes would try to hide, he told me to never do so, not to mention he helped me to not hide my writing but to let it shine. He was the type of teacher who would make any student laugh with his random outbursts such as "chicken liver". He will be greatly missed but never forgotten, I will see you again someday and thank you in person for all the wisdom and guidance you have given to me. May you rest in peace, and love and prayers go out to your wife and boys. <3

There aren't words strong enough to fully express the heartbreak or shock, nor are there words for the gratitude, the appreciation and the love so many of us felt and will always feel. But he would tell us this was in God's plan for him, and for that reason alone, it's alright, to trust that this is how it's supposed to be. All my love to Mrs. Petti and the boys, those beautiful boys he adored so much. He was the best teacher and mentor anyone could ask for, and that will live on.

Dedicated to Mr. Petti I knew a person who had a contagious smile. If you wanted to see happiness he could show it to you. He was intelligent, he was one of a kind. You could never find another like him. You could see the joy in his eyes. And the hope in his smile. He was my amazing teacher. My unbelievably wonderful friend. A loving father and a devoted husband. He had cancer. But oh no that didn't stop him. Nothing could bring him down. He was so strong and had a heart of gold. He went through chemo. With hope and faith like always. The day you passed away. It was tragic. Horrific. Unexpected. Knowing someone so strong had passed away. Knowing I would never get to say goodbye. Knowing I would never see that smile that could brighten up someone's day. I wont forget the smell of your room. Or the little notes you left. On the white board every once in awhile when you were going through chemo. Or the podium of power. The enthusiasm when you spoke. You're known as Tony, Anthony, Mr.Petti, And Dad. Or something I like to call amazing. And even though we cant see you. We have your memories and That's what keeps us holding on. We all love you. We know your in heaven at this very moment, With a smile on your face. By: Sarah Elizabeth Scott

Tony was my teacher, mentor and friend. It is very strange to be writing this as we should all be laughing and talking together and watching our children grow old. It's hard to believe this is where we end it. So we won't. We'll keep it going...
