James R. Ellegate passed away suddenly October 4, 2008.� Born June 2, 1964 in Oneonta, NY, he is the cherished son of Richard J. and Mary G. (Cassin) Ellegate.� James was a graduate from SUNY Oneonta earning his bachelor degree in accounting and his master degree from UB.� He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1987 while working for Ernst & Young, LLP.� James was part owner of Ellegate & Rizzo CPA's, P.C. and American Business Network, Inc. in Middleport with his wife Julianne Rizzo.� His primary focus in life was his three children which brought him to volunteer for many organizations.� James volunteered at PAWS Animal Shelter in Orleans County, was assistant coach for Roy-Hart LOYAL football team and baseball coach for AYSO Baseball.� He was a member of the NYSSCPA and enjoyed snowmobiling, cruising, attending car shows, camping, bon fire and buying and selling all kinds of items.� Flowers are gratefully declined memorials made be made to PAWS Animal Shelter 3371 Gaines Basin Rd, Albion, NY 14411.�

Besides his parents James is also survived by his loving wife Julianne Rizzo of Middleport; devoted father of Liana Marie, James Richard, Jr. and Nicole Marie Ellegate all of Middleport; beloved brother of Carolyn (Thomas) Marks of Oneota, NY, John Ellegate of Grand Island, Grace Ellegate and Leah (Jason) Lesch both of Auburn; also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews.
� Relatives and friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 AM.� Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.� Flowers are gratefully declined memorials made be made to PAWS Animal Shelter 3371 Gaines Basin Rd, Albion, NY 14411.��
