It has been an honor and a privilege to be able to have had the chance to share time in our lives with Shirley Taylor. Her contagious smile brightened the many storms of life and her caring words calmed the seas. Her radiating kindness and love was truly a comfort and joy to all who were lucky enough to have been touched by her. As we celebrate her life may we honor her by using the example she always set. May our sadness turn to gratitude as time goes on, as it does much too quickly. With lipstick in hand we salute the life of a magnificent human being and thank her for the happy memories she left us with. We love you Shirley!

How sad that the sun should be shining on the coming spring and Shirley will not be here to welcome the flowers, but I'm sure she's with Jack and "Baby" and free of the pain and problems of aging. Shirley was "Mom" to me over the years and family to everyone who knew her. Her gentle heart and generous, kind spirit left her broke in pocket but rich in love and respect. Immensely creative, she gifted us with her talents and tried to brighten the lives of everyone around her. In her hands, the most simple and mundane of items became a thing of beauty to share. In this, she succeeded like no other. There will always be the humorous stories, of laugh-filled rehearsals for the murder mysteries she directed or the crazy characters she encountered along life's way. A wonderful cook, she fed the body as well as the spirit and we are all blessed to have shared her life. Shirley shared everything that she had with anyone who asked, always lovingly and willingly, and I can't help b ut believe she has earned an especially cushy chair at Heaven's table. Her family, too, became family. My heart goes out to John, Jackie, Tracy and Terry and all the family. She loved you so much and was so very proud of all of you! Please know that she lives on in the hearts of those who loved her, as we send prayers of comfort to all of you. I'm really going to miss you "Mom," You brought much warmth and love to my life Julie
