Frances, Roxanne, Paula, Karen and Family, What a treasure to say not only was Rocci a neighbor for 50+ years, but like a Grandfather to our kids for 20 years. The memories are everlasting from the shared vacations, family gatherings, Tuesday Pasta nights at Scotsmans Point and Conesus Lake, water skiing, many summer days in your backyard pool and way too many great others. Alex will forever treasure Rocci's carpentry skills with the model wooden car that he made for him as a little boy. I am so glad that I was able to see him on Easter Sunday to personally hand him my homemade desserts. A life so treasured by our family and who will never be forgotten! We cannot put into words what your friendship has meant to us for 55 years. Our families have become as close as relatives. We will miss that dear sweet man more than we can explain....from watching him jump into his pool, painting a station wagon in our back yard, water skiing at Conesus Lake, sharing gardeing secrets with Sandie and a beer now and then with Dudley. Our condolences for the whole family, we know how much Rocci will be missed and that he will live on in each of you. We have many, many fond memories of Uncle Rocci. He was the consumate do it yourselfer, who could do or figure out how to do anything from building a house to beautiful wooden cars to fixing just about anything! He was an artist too and his canvas was his yard painted with beautiful flowers, shrubs, trees and flower and vegatable gardens. Uncle Rocci was also the best when it came to hosting us whenever we came to visit and the feast he helped Aunt Francis prepare. Nobody could grill a pork tenderloin the way he did. We will greatly miss him.

To the Scirati Family, It's been 40+ years since I last saw Mr. Scirati. Having grown up around the corner on Roosevelt Dr., we'd frequently passed your home on Akron Rd. daily. At times, he would be out front gardening or mowing the lawn but always had the time to engage in spirited conversation. He was a charm and a pleasure to converse with. I also delivered your Courier Express morning paper. On occasion, when I was behind schedule -- unlike some of the customers on my route -- your Dad would be waitng to greet me at the door with a smile on his face saying: "Better late than never"...always a gentleman. He will no doubt be missed. However, take solace in knowing that he lived a long and prosperous life; and that he's in a much better place now. Nonetheless, my deepest condolences to you all.
