Obituary of Scott Gribben

Scott Edward Gribben passed away November 4, 2013 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Buffalo on April 25, 1968 he is the son of Edward Gribben of Amherst and Kathryn (nee Hartman) Crozier of Oregon. Scott earned his Bachelors of Science in engineering from the University of Buffalo and was the Vice President for Central Technology Architecture for M&T Bank in Buffalo. He also was a race car driver at Ransomville Race Track " pro stock. Scott enjoyed playing drums, golfing and going to concerts.
Besides his parents Scott is also survived by his wife Debbie Gribben of Lockport; daughter Amie (Paul) DeFilippo of Buffalo; grandchildren Mark and Emma DeFilippo both of Buffalo; sister Angela (Dan) Wegener of Oregon; niece Kyra Wegener of Oregon.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, Nov. 6th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 7th at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke, DUMC Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710 would be appreciated by the family.
