Obituary of Merle G. Fritz
Merle G. Fritz passed away November 21, 2023 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst. Born December 7, 1930 in Lockport he was the son of Howard and Ida (Gill) Fritz. Merle served in the US Air Force from 1951 to 1955 and worked for Harrison Radiator Div of GM for over 40 years where he retired as the Flux Room Manager. He was predeceased by his wife Carol A. (Spear) Fritz on December 6, 2012.
Merle is survived by his children George E. Fritz, Charlotte A. (Mike) Coyle, Susan M. (Guy) Smith, Sandra J. Fritz, and John H. (Tamelia) Fritz; seven grandchildren Heather (William), Andrew (Francisco), Jeanna (Andy), Stacy (Eric), Aryal, Amber, and Miranda, and five great grandchildren Clarice, Cameron, Lilliana, Cora, and Zia.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, November 25th from 3-5 PM with services at 5 PM all in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
