Obituary of Sandra Sheppard
Sandra Sheppard has gone home on the wings of a dove to be with her Creator. She passed away August 26, 2023. Born October 24, 1940 in Cavite, Philippines islands, she was the daughter of the late Lt Cdr USN Frederick W. and Jessica (Franks) Symes Sheppard. She worked in production at Harrison Radiator, and enjoyed soap operas, Circle Words, and was an avid listener of Hometown 1340 WLVL especially Dial-A-Deal.
Beloved mother of Pamela Leonard, Robert (Tonya) Velia, Dennis (Sandy) Velia, and John (Yukino) Voutour, USMC; loving grandmother of Jeremy (Jen), Jacob (Amber), Kelsey, Kaydee (Dan), Brynne, Elise, Shawn, Luciano, and Killian; cherished great grandmother of Jimi, Joey, Ashley, and Kim; special friends Pat Hartman Longstreet and Howard Myers. She was predeceased by her siblings Robert (Patricia) Symes, Diane Sobieraski, and Ann Welsher.
