Roland E. Holler, Sr. passed away on Friday November 24, 2017. He was born on May 18, 1921 in Lockport, NY a son of Henry and Ella (Klein) Holler.
At the age of 12 Roland was a Western Union Carrier. He served in the United States Army during WWII and was a lifelong member of the VFW. Roland was a Captain with the Auxiliary Police for many years. Roland enjoyed working on his house and in his yard, gardening and was an avid card player. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Roland was predeceased by his wife Mabel (Jenet) Holler on March 29, 2012, also predeceased by 8 siblings. Roland is survived by his children; Roland E. Holler, Jr., Cathy Holler and Daniel (Beth) Holler; his grandchildren; David, Erin, Kristen; his great grandchildren; Brennan, Brylie, Otice, Lukas, and Mika.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday November 28, 2017 from 4-8PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home 242 Genesee St. Lockport, NY., where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 29, 2017 at 11AM. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
