Obituary of Marc S Ferris
Marc S. Ferris, lifetime resident of Lockport passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at Buffalo General Hospital after a long illness he battled. Born in Lockport, NY on February 21, 1955 he was the son of the Late Francis Ferris and Lucille (Hanaka) Ferris of Lockport.
Marc was a fireman for the city of Lockport. He worked for twenty-eight years retiring in 2015. Marc loved gardening, playing hockey at the Kenan Center, NY Yankees, Notre Dame, SF 49’rs, NY Rangers and yearly baseball trips to Cleveland. He was also a corvette enthusiast and was a member of the WNY Corvette Club.
In addition to his mother, Marc is survived by Aunt and Uncle, Mary and Michael Hanaka; cousins, Julie (Hanaka) Olszewski, Marie (Hanaka) France and Scott Hanaka; dear friends, Charlie and Anissa Webb, Al Cavagnaro, and Tom DeFlippo
Family and friends may call Friday, August 11th from 4 – 8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St, Lockport. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 8:00 PM. Burial in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visit pruddenandkandt.com
