Obituary of Kim Martha Granieri

Kim Martha Granieri entered into rest at the age of 56 on June 24, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Kim grew up in Niagara Falls, New York and was a resident of Lockport, New York at the time of passing. She worked as a retail merchandiser with the bulk of her career spent working for Gap Inc. Kim lived for her family and friends. She always said that her "purpose in life" was to raise her girls and she did so her entire life. Kim absolutely loved attending any family event, especially the Granieri Family Picnic and Conahan Family Reunion. Kim built lifelong friendships with many. She found any reason to entertain, pull out her antique glasses, and spend time with life-long friends, the neighborhood crew and her YaYa's. Kim loved gardening, shopping, garage sales, taking pictures and planning events. Most of all, Kim passionately loved traveling with her friends and family. Kim was married to Matthew Barmasse and was the proud mother of her four children, Kiele, Hailey, Miller and Matthew, who died at birth. Kim is the daughter of Raymond Rudolph Granieri (deceased) and Mary Elizabeth Granieri (Conahan). Her siblings are Raymond Jr. (Lisa), Kelly Mundt (Brad) and Kathleen Granieri (Tim Kenyon). Kim has many nephews and nieces that she loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27th from 4 - 8 P.M. at the Prudent & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 28th at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 168 Chestnut Street Lockport NY with Fr. Joseph Dumphrey officiating.
