Ethel R. Smith passed away in Lockport, New York on April 23, 2017 at the age of
90. She was born and raised in Port Colborne, Ontario. Prior to her marriage,
Ethel worked as the office manager at a Sears store in Port Colborne. She was
predeceased by her husband Leo Smith and her parents James and Mary Stevenson,
sisters Kay Fogle and Marion Chase and brothers Jack and James Stevenson. She
was also predeceased by her nephew Chris Chase and brother-in-law Glenn Chase.
Ethel is survived by her sister Joan Stevenson of Port Colborne, Ontario;
niece Marianne Blaha of Fort Myers, Florida; sister-in-law Terry Stevenson and
her children, James, Lori and Shaun, all of Kenora, Ontario; and brother-in-law
Donald Fogle of Lockport. She will be missed by dear friends Nicole and Mason
Miller and Kathy Bilbrough. Services will be private. Arrangements by Prudden &
Kandt Funeral Home.
