Benjamin David Wasik passed away on Wednesday March 15, 2017. Born in Amherst, on December 6, 2006, he was the loving son of David and Melissa (nee Reil) Wasik. Ben was in 4th Grade at Starpoint Intermediate School. He loved building with his legos, fishing, Star Wars and working with his family on their farm, he also loved spending time in Canada at the family cottage. Beside his parents, Ben is survived by his siblings, Brooke and Cameron Wasik. Beloved, Grandson of Frank and Barbara Wasik and Richard and Elaine Reil; dear nephew of Debra (Bill Hopkins) Wasik, Frank Wasik, Diane (David "Jake") Wasik-Reed, Michael (Tara) Wasik, Brandon (Lindsay) Reil, Bryan (Desiree) Reil and Lisa Sendker. He is also survived by his cousins Emily Reed, Natalie Wasik, Audriana Reil, Delaney Reil, Landon Reil and Ethan Reil. Friends may call on Sunday March 19th 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday March 20th at the Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY. Interment will be in Wheatfield Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 331 Alberta Drive #106, Buffalo, NY 14226, would be appreciated by the family.
